This new year, 2012 is off to a great start!  We're getting lots of new fabric shipments in.

Just a quick note to let you know that the Italian tile inspired BELLA VERONA fabric line from Timeless Treasures has finally arrived!

The QUILT CLASS for the WING and a PRAYER quilt for which these fabrics were designed, will start the 2nd Thursday in February (not this week, as previously advertised).

It will be a 7 month class, meeting 2nd Thursdays at 7 p.m., February through August.  

Cost of this lecture/demo class is just $24.  Come pick up some tips!  Get focused!

This year's Civil War Journals Block-a-Month focuses on the CHILDREN of the 1860s caught up in our nation's Civil War.

A year-long program, the fabrics are all 19th century reproductions, and very authentic!  The patterns include an interesting story each month, block patterns & directions for making one small child-size quilt a quarter, or combining your entire year's production into one large quilt, as pictured further below.

By popular demand, we've added a THURSDAY AFTERNOON section too.  This class will meet 2nd Thursdays, at 1:30 p.m., starting February 9th.

Make it using reproduction fabrics from the 1800s, in reds & browns.  Come see our quilt on display now! 

A VINTAGE FLORAL print will be suggested for the border.  The block fabrics will have reds, browns, blue/green, creams & naturals.
