Hi all! Marti & Me Club & American Beauty Sampler are not cancelled. There are 3 sessions today. The first is at 10 a.m., repeating at 1:30 & 7 pm. The weather may be frightful, but Mary & I each live only a few blocks from the store.
We do not want you to take a risk getting here. But since we'd hate for someone (who didn't think it was that bad) to make the effort to come, only to find it cancelled, we will hold the class despite the weather, as long as we have electricity! (Fingers crossed! LOL) If you are enrolled in either, and wish to take advantage of the day's special pricing, please phone the store with a credit card and we'll hold or mail your merchandise. A little more involved project, including piecing & appliqué, finishing approximately 60 inch square, this quilt would make a great wall quilt to brighten up any room from January to January! Valentines' all year long!! This beautiful quilt was designed by Rosalie Quinlan as she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. It is a reflection of her journey and the joy that she has found in everyday life. MONTHLY KIT price will include pattern & fabric for top. year there we're starting a new SAMPLER QUILT, again using
REPRODUCTION CIVIL WAR ERA fabrics made by Marcus Fabrics. The Civil War Chronicles BOM quilt features twelve blocks that tell the stories of twelve women who encountered their own struggles on the home front while their husbands were away. Each pattern includes historical background and biographies about the generals' wives. If you'd like some encouragement and help, consider joining our class. Wildflower or Tonga Rhapsody - Queen-size sampler quilt with 2 settings available. Class meets 7 p.m. - 2nd Thursdays. There's still time to join.
