Hi all!
We are having a
beautiful KANSAS
AUTUMN!
And "Whew!" we
had another wonderful area-wide, FALL
INTO QUILTING! QUILT SHOP HOP!
If you visited us last
weekend, THANK YOU! If you missed it, please mark your 2011
Calendar now, as we're already planning for Sept. 30, Oct. 1 & 2
for next year's Hop! We had many out-of-state visitors who told
us how glad they were that they'd made the trip.
The Grand Prize was won
by Sammie Hutson and I hear she was as excited as can be when she
loaded that sewing center into her truck! Congratulations
Sammie!
I've been playing
"catch-up" ever since, trying to reacquaint myself with my
"on-order" file, re-order all sorts of stuff that we ran out
of last weekend, prepare for tomorrow's SECOND SATURDAY class, etc.,
etc.
Tomorrow
we start our
HALLOWEEN FABRIC SALE in the store, but you can catch it early on
the web!
30% OFF
in the store and
on-line. Quantities are limited to that on hand, of course, so
when it's gone, it's gone. Check it out now, here:

Back to my SHOP
HOP QUILT, I featured a gorgeous AUTUMN LEAF fabric in the block
centers and for the border, from Moda's ARNOLD'S
ATTIC collection.
ARNOLD'S
ATTIC fabric line was
developed by BARBARA BRACKMAN, a well known quilt historian, who
happens to be a Kansan!

We have complete
kits for my quilt featuring several of these fabrics.

ARNOLD'S ATTIC is an
interesting story. On her
web site, Barbara tells how she came to know Arnold (yes, a REAL
guy!) and how he came to send her fabrics from his attic!

We have EXCLUSIVE
KANSAS fabric available. This charming fabric has the
names of the towns that hosted the Central Kansas Quilt Shop
Hop: Newton, Wichita, Hutchinson, Salina, Severy &
Derby. It also says THE WHEAT STATE, THE SUNFLOWER STATE, and
has a unique, all-over sunflower print. It goes with so many
things in our store, that we think everyone should have some in their
stash! :)

We
are also seeing a lot of interest in this gorgeous TONGA
BATIK QUILT - BACK TO NATURE.
We have all the ORIGINAL
TONGA fabrics, the pattern (written by Kansans!) & the 108"
wide BATIK BACKING. So click here or call us if you are
interested in a kit. We can mail it in 4 parts if you wish.

Hope to see you soon!
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Charlotte Wolfe
