Hi all! Happy December! We've started decorating for Christmas, which is fun! Randy was inspired to purchase a new Christmas tree. This one is composed of tiny metallic green apples. It is really glittery in the sunlight and fun without ornaments!

Do you know that Aretha Franklin is out touring! Lucky for us, she recently played at one of the casinos in Oklahoma. This isn't even "in the boonies", it is "beyond the boonies". LOL (No offense meant, Oklahomans!) Randy first made a couple of phone calls to be sure it wasn't a hoax, and then

ABUNDANCE BASKETS QUILT will be our 2012 SECOND SATURDAY SAMPLER program. The first color choice will be very similar to the fabrics shown on the cover of the book. A VINTAGE FLORAL print will be suggested for the border. The block fabrics will have reds, browns, blue/green, creams & naturals. There will also be a second choice. It will use all the gorgeous BLUES, TEALS, GREENS and a touch of gold, as found in TIMELESS TREASURE'S PLUME which will be suggested as the border for this quilt.
