Hi all!

Whew!  We survived The Wedding. :)  We had a fine day, a beautiful ceremony & a lovely reception attended by wonderful friends & family from near & far!

See the Heartfelt PANEL here, with I Corinthians and more which would make a great start to a perfect keepsake!

I promised pictures!  Here's the Happy Couple, Lily & Francis, being showered with bubbles!  Delbert's picture captures the magical atmosphere, but is missing the audio!  It was straight up noon as they exited and the church bells were ringing!  Very special!

I am in the black dress behind Lily.  Look closely and you can just see my smile!  Thank goodness Delbert snapped this picture when he did, as I'm sure I made a horrible face as I realized the noon bells signaled that we were running behind schedule! LOL  (You can click on the above picture to see a larger image.)

Lily's gown was appliquéd re-embroidered lace with a train which had been bustled by the time this picture was taken.

I had shortened the front almost 3 inches and customized the fit as well as creating a beautiful back opening.  This meant releasing all the appliquéd lace from the base net, taking in the seams, and re-stitching the pieces to the net.  It took all the patience I could muster, as well as a new, stronger pair of readers!

Did I mention that the lace was appliquéd to the net with clear nylon thread?  I used my trusty CLOVER SEAM RIPPER, and learned to cut, not yank, as that only tightened the threads.

The day of the wedding I carried an emergency kit in my new, collapsible, purple GYPSY BITTY BUDDY.  Normally I use it as a small waste basket, but it was purrfect for toting all the stuff I needed.

I was using my favorite fine needles, PIECEMAKERS HAND APPLIQUÉ size 12 SHARP needles, with polyester thread, and THREAD HEAVEN thread conditioner.

I use different types of thread, depending on the project, and have bobbins wound of all.

I just love the new SPOOLER, which keeps the BOBBIN & SPOOL together.  A sure way to know you've loaded the machine with both the cotton bobbin & spool, the poly with the poly, etc., even when they are all white.

THREAD HEAVEN is the only product that uses static electricity to reduce tangling and knotting.  This characteristic is absolutely unique to Thread Heaven and is the main reason it works so much
better than any other product!

To thread a needle as fine as the Piecemakers' size 12, I NEED a good NEEDLE THREADER!

My absolute favorite is the CLOVER DESK NEEDLE THREADER.

I carry it with me for all hand projects.  My original has lasted forever.  Lucky for you, they stopped making the brown version, and now they just come in yummy pastel colors.

Lily & I have been working together, updating stuff on the web, Facebook, planning my new blog (how many years have I been talking about this?), etc.  Yesterday we were in the yard shooting some new pictures and Meiko just couldn't pass up a "photo op"!  We all agree that this quilt looks best with a "black accent"! LOL

Hope to see you soon.

 Sincerely,

Charlotte Wolfe
