Hi all! There are still spaces available for the MISSOURI BORDER CROSSING BUS TRIP. The bus will visit 3 QUILT SHOP in the Kansas City area. This happens Friday Sept. 17th. $80 includes meals & transportation. The trip starts here at Charlotte's Sew Natural back door, with a 7 a.m. departure. We'll have coffee, juice and goodies to send you on your way! There will be time to shop in our store at the beginning and the end of the day as well.

These are 3 of the beautiful ART GALLERY - Floral Elements from Pat Bravo, which would make a gorgeous quilt all on their own, but also blend with lots of other groups! We've been cutting kits like crazy, as well as cutting fabric for some of the upcoming FALL CLASSES. The "repeat students", are always so excited and anxious to get started even before the class does, and it get's us looking at new combinations of fabric as well. In September we are starting several new BLOCK-A-MONTH quilts, some meet monthly, and/or have kits available that can be picked up or mailed.
This year we have a BONUS for you! Two classes are actually being covered in the same 60 minutes. There is just one class fee ($48). You choose which project(s) you work on, and materials are extra. My AMERICAN BEAUTY SAMPLER quilt is made using Marti Michell's WILD ROSE fabric from Maywood Studios. Marti has a black version and a white version. I have created my own unique version combining white on the inside and black on the outside. I did the sashing & setting slightly different and it comes out a bit larger. You can choose from these kits or if taking the class, you can select your very own fabrics, we'll help, of course! The "beauty" of this class, is that all the fabrics don't have to be purchased at once. This quilt starts with LUNA NOTTE from MODA, a LARGE FEATURE PRINT for the block centers & outer border. The blocks are 4-PATCH KALEIDOSCOPE technique. Very addictive! The instructions are included in a FABULOUS book. Lots of detailed instructions & illustrations. The kits will include enough fabric for a QUEEN-SIZE quilt OR a LARGE THROW and several smaller projects. EMBROIDERING is a very popular past-time. Come join other stitchers Tuesday mornings in September and make the MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS QUILT. This Crab-Apple pattern includes embroidery, coloring with crayons on fabric and some piecing.
