Perfect Patchwork Templates

Designed by Marti Michell, these acrylic templates are designed for use with a rotary cutter.  They include 1/4" seam allowances and specially engineered, double-blunt corners.  These corners eliminate "dog-ears" and make alignment easier and stitching more accurate.

There are more than 20 different Perfect Patchwork Template Sets available.

The most important ones are probably Set A, based on the 3" square and Set B, based on the 4" square.  

Then sets C & D which match up with A & B.

Template Set M, illustrated above, is based on a 12" finished size block that is divided by 5.  Do the math - the squares are 2.4".  Now, start adding 1/4" seam allowances to all sides, divide the units in half diagonally once for half-square triangle units, in half again, for quarter squares, add the seam allowances and you can see how you might NOT WANT TO DO THE MATH!  :)

You can cut with a rotary cutter from strips.

Complex angles are not a problem when you have the Perfect Patchwork template designed for the job.
