Hi all!
I think that SPRING has
sprung here in Kansas! We've had several days in a row that can
actually be called "nice". :) If you too want
some "Spring", please check out our newest quilt kits!
We
just received two new groups from Moda that feature
"convenience" cloth. Convenience cloth has often been
referred to as "cheater" cloth. No more! This stuff
looks great! The printing is so good, that once quilted it is
difficult to tell it's not actually been appliqued! :)
One, SUMMER'S
BASKET OF FLOWERS - with sunflowers, is designed by Kansas' own
Terry Clothier Thompson, and the other RUBY'S
FLOWER GARDEN is designed by Washington's Kathy Schmitz.
We've got yardage and kits, ready to go! Check them out here!

To a lot of people, "Spring" says BASEBALL! We've got
a great selection of baseball theme fabrics, plus a couple of pillow
case bundles ready to ship!

I love designer Jason Yenter's forward to his GARDEN GLOBES
pattern. His description of his "real" garden sounds a
lot like mine! :) He more than makes up for his neglected yard
with the AWESOME fabrics in his latest collection Floragraphix II from In
The Beginning Fabrics. Click here for some detailed images
of these incredible fabrics available in 4 colorways:

MONKEY
SEE, MONKEY DO is another project featuring Moda fabrics.
This kit starts with pre-cut 2½" strips, that I've already cut
for you! I just LOVE my die-cutter! The simple directions for this
basic rail-fence quilt are found in the book, STRIP
DELIGHT, and your "Sock Monkey" quilt will be done in no
time!

If you're already enrolled in our BE ATTITUDES block-a-month, you'll
soon be getting the latest kit for BE POSITIVE. Isn't this
cute?! If you order the program now (we have just a couple slots
available, and we're not adding any more), we'll catch you up
"quick" and then send you a block-a-month, as we get them
cut, through November.

Lily is in Italy, having
a great time, according to her emails! Hey, the first day she
found a cute little leather jacket to buy! That's my girl!
Randy & I are off to
Oregon for a long-weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing
previews of new fabric lines at Maywood Studios. Yes, the
shelves are full now, but we'll need more in a couple of months,
right?! Randy & I are looking forward to seeing the ocean
and exploring the "historic highway" that runs along the
river and doing some sight-seeing while we're in Portland. This
sounds like a "full" couple of days but I'm "up"
for it! :)

Feel free to come to the
shop while I'm gone, as the crew promises to keep it open! I know
they've been marking fabric down and taking it back to the SALE ROOM
as they've been moving in the new fabrics, so you might want to stop
in to see what they've marked down while I'm away! ;) Be
sure to check BARGAINS
& SPECIALS in the web store as they are marking stuff down
there too.
