As pictured above, we have chosen 4 different "theme" fabrics which will provide us with the guidance we need to select fabrics each and every month for your blocks.

Make two 12" blocks using block patterns and fabric kits which we will send to you the middle of each month. Runs January through December 2005.

You can order kits & fabrics in a single theme or more if you choose. Please click on any of the pictures above for details on the individual themes.
Choosing a single theme will cost just $13.99/month.

The slide show at left features the first month's pairs of blocks plus February's Rainbow blocks. Each month will be different. Additional months' blocks are shown below along with a suggestion on how to combine either 12 blocks or 24 blocks into one quilt.

PS - If you live close to Newton, you may want to investigate ATTENDING IN PERSON our 2nd Saturday Sampler meeting. We start promptly at 9 a.m. If you come by 9 and show us the block you have made from the previous month�s kit, we will not only give you the next pieced block pattern, but we will also give you a pieced block fabric kit for FREE. You then have the option of purchasing the Folk Art appliqu� block pattern and kit and additional fat quarters.
Here in the store we call this the
"Make a Quilt for $5 - or Almost!" Second Saturday Sampler Class. If you miss a meeting, you must purchase the next kit for $5. Then you again have the opportunity to earn your next month�s kit for free. These same "theme" fabrics will inspire the monthly kits.
