Hi all!

Happy Epiphany!  This is really it, the Last Day of The Twelve Days of Christmas!

According to the dictionary:

e·piph·a·ny [ih-pif-uh-nee] noun, plural e·piph·a·nies.
1. a Christian festival, observed on January 6, commemorating the manifestation of Christ to the gentiles in the persons of the Magi; Twelfth-day.
2. an appearance or manifestation, especially of a deity.
3. a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.

My wish for you is, if you didn't already know it before this Christmas season, that you had a personal epiphany.  To quote Pope Benedict, "Love is the 'greatest' gift, that gives value to all others". (Paraphrasing 1 Corinthians 13:13)

The Twelfth Gift - Love, The Greatest Gift of All

Our Gift of Love includes

  • HEARTS IN THE WINDOW, a CSN exclusive pattern
  • 1 spool of WHITE THREAD

We start with Valentine-theme fabrics.  A lovely holiday in February, but we need to hold Love in our hearts the year 'round.

Our bundle includes a basic spool of white cotton thread.  It is not fancy.  It doesn't need to be to do the job.  If it breaks, just re-thread the needle and stitch some more.  There is plenty of it to go around.  It isn't too thick, doesn't get in the way.  It is just there, holding things together.  But don't take it for granted, or forget about it, as it is bad if you run out.  It is a lot like Love.

The Magi have reached their destination.  Their Gifts - Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh - have been presented.

I have to admit, Myrrh presented my biggest challenge.  What did we sell in the quilt shop that was anything like an oil used when embalming!  I'm glad many of you liked, saw the humor and got the connection to the Day of the Dead fabrics we put on special that day. :)

Whether you got these gifts for yourself, or will gift them away, we hope you'll enjoy opening your packages.  We have thought of each of you as we packaged them, and thank you for supporting the store.  We are off to a good start for 2013

I am already looking forward to doing something like this again!  It was fun!

Keep reading your emails from me and check out my BLOG too:

Missed a few emails over the holidays?  You can still see all the TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIFTS here as they have been presented.

If this is the first email you've seen, you may be wondering what these "gifts" are all about! :)
