Hi all!

Spring is progressing nicely here in Kansas.  I know I resolved to not do any more gardening, but I have put in a few flowers and have planted the pots by the back door at the store.  I'm feeling pretty good about it, but it hasn't been hot and it rained last night. Not really Kansas-like yet. :)

Just to stay on top of things, I did make a cute small quilt with flowers that won't die even basking in a very sunny window!

This is a "limited edition" of BIG BLUES.  We have about a dozen kits and when they're gone, they're gone, as the border fabric is a discontinued HOFFMAN BATIK in a discontinued color-way, French Blue.

Here is another group that is catching my eye, and looks like a beautiful, weed-less GARDEN!

FLORA by Chris Hinrichs.

Newton is just a few miles west of the Flint Hills, which is full of working ranches with real cowboys and cowgirls who BURN the range to keep the weeds down.  Very dramatic if you ever get a chance to drive through the area at night in early Spring.

We love COWBOY fabric around here.

Check out some of our latest, BEST OF THE WEST II from BLANK TEXTILES.

A great GIFT idea!  A unique small gift for that SECRET SISTER or your entire SMALL GROUP.

Our exclusive HOWDY card pack contains 12 different 5 inch squares.  So charming!  Order today & we'll include a FREE PATTERN.  Just $6.99 each or 4 for $24.

These designs are special collections of patriotic fabrics for Quilts of Valor. Each fabric company has also made a financial contribution to Quilts of Valor Foundation. This foundation is not about politics. It's about people and quilters are involved in a big way!

If you would like to learn more about the mission of the QOV Foundation to cover ALL those service members and veterans touched by war with Wartime Quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVs), please click here:

Now in stock, we have Diane Knott's collection that is rather cute and country.

We also have Jo Morton's collection which is more classic & traditional.
